Aerospan Offers Enhanced Functionality in Version 2.0

Aerospan is pleased to announce the next release of our industry leading e-marketplace. This new release reflects our continued efforts to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. As with all releases, version 2.0 contains enhanced functionality and new features to offer more services to our members. Additionally, in this release we have made significant improvements to the user interface. With this new interface, we have made the site easier to use and more informative.

At Aerospan, we pride ourselves on listening to our customers and incorporating your feedback and suggestions into everything we do. Here is just a brief glance of the improvements you can expect to see in the new version to be released in August.

User Interface
The user interface has been broken up into three distinct areas: Actions (top navigation), Tools (vertical navigation) and Workflow (content and data).

The Actions area, located horizontally across the top of your screen, has several features including username, help, logoff and the ability to perform part number searches, "buy actions" (buyer role) and "sell actions" (supplier role) at any time during your session.

The Tools area is in the dark blue box on the left side of your screen. This is a major addition to previous navigation and is by far the most prominent change in this release. Many of the tools that were previously separated throughout the site have been grouped together for a more intuitive and efficient user experience.

The Workflow area, or the center portion of your screen, now provides a clearer
and more consistent presentation of information.


Notifications
The Notifications section, also known as the "Welcome Page," has changed significantly. The redesigned page now has three sections: Event Status, On-going Activities and New Members.

The Event Status section has been improved to show information more readily and intuitively. In addition to providing an online event listing, e-mails from the marketplace now contain a hyperlink to connect you directly to Aerospan's login page so that you can quickly assess and respond to activity.

An On-going Activities section has been added to allow you to view a categorized list of all your activities, complete with hyperlinks that connect you to all related events. You can search and sort by any category, quickly review and examine the activities, and finalize and submit a response.

The New Members section will display all organizations that have joined the marketplace within the last ten days. The administrator has the ability to quickly add these new members as approved or excluded customer with just the click of a mouse.

Simplified Pushlist Management
Aerospan now makes it easier for a Supplier to allocate inventory to a push list in order to sell that inventory at a special price in bulk or individually. With fewer steps to produce push lists, Suppliers easily identify the inventory, the price and minimum quantity to be purchased.

Once the push list is created and all the recipients have been selected, all participants who have been invited will receive notification. Completed push list details will be available through View History.

AeroMROTracker
Aerospan proudly announces the addition of AeroMROTracker, a solution specifically designed to allow you to track and trace your repaired parts. Not only does this tool minimize manual data entry, but also shows ongoing progress of the actual repair and overhaul process.

Users are allowed to enter specific details about a purchase order to view status of a part repair. The system provides both an internal and external view of the repair and logistics process. Internal view includes information of the scheduled work, parts in progress, date due for completion, while external view includes information on airway bill (material position, signature receipt, shipment dates, etc.)
